Meetup Stages: What to do
Profile Stage
Opens: 17th August
- You will receive a welcome email to setup your profile from noreply@app.groceryshop.com.
- Select Edit Meetup Profile to ensure your information is accurate, as attendees will use it when deciding whether to request a meeting with you.
- Some profile information will already be populated from your registration.
- Complete and save your Meetup profile by 5pm PT, Wednesday, August 26.
Requests Stage
Opens: 27th August
- Search for and request all the attendees you would like to meet.
- There is no limit to the number of requests you can make.
- Groceryshop recommends making at least four requests for every timeslot you are available.
- Request people from a wide variety of organisations to improve your chances of filling your schedule.
- You may request multiple people from the same organisation, but only one meeting with that organization will be scheduled.
- Mark each request as Relevant or Super Relevant. Your selection will not be visible to the recipient.
- Complete your requests by 5pm PT, Wednesday, September 9.
Opt In Stage
Opens: 27th August
- Review the people who have requested to meet you and opt into everyone you would be interested in meeting.
- Meetings can only be scheduled when both participants agree, so a request you do not opt into cannot become a meeting.
- If you have already requested each other, you are automatically matched and do not need to opt in again.
- Confirm your availability carefully. You may be scheduled for a meeting during any timeslot you have not blocked.
- Complete your opt-ins and confirm your availability by 5pm PT, Monday, September 14.
